Laura N. Sinai, M.D., MSCE, FAAP earned her medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed her Pediatric Residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. She completed Fellowship training at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in General Pediatrics.
Dr. Sinai received a Master’s of Science degree in Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Pennsylvania studying multiple areas of pediatric care. She has authored and co-authored several original research articles. In addition, she has written chapters in several pediatric textbooks and was a co-editor of the first edition of The Five Minute Pediatric Consult.
Dr. Sinai has been in private practice since 1995 and has also worked in pediatric urgent care and as a pediatric hospitalist. She is the North Carolina Chapter Breastfeeding Coordinator for the American Academy of Pediatrics and is also a past Chair of the North Carolina Breastfeeding Coalition.
Laura enjoys cycling as well as international travel with her 2 daughters and husband.
Holly G. Smith, M.D., FAAP earned her medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed her training in pediatrics at Yale-New Haven Hospital, where she was chief resident. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. Smith was voted a “Top Doctor” by her peers in St. Paul Minnesota. She was an adjunct clinical instructor for 10 years at the University of Minnesota School of Medicine. She has been in private practice since 1991 and practicing in Charlotte since 2005.
Holly enjoys music, attending the theater, gardening and travel with her husband and daughter.
